The D-backs Baseball Academy is the official youth baseball and softball instructional program of the Arizona Diamondbacks. D-backs certified coaches travel throughout the state of Arizona to teach the fundamentals of the game. Instructors are handpicked by the D-backs organization from a group of former professional players and the best local collegiate and high school coaches. Approximately 19,000 kids have participated and learned to �¢??play the D-backs way!�¢??

The D-backs RBI program is a free summer baseball and softball league that provides an opportunity for inner city high school students to develop their skills with elite coaching, play season games at D-backs�¢?? Major League Facilities and travel to the RBI World Series. In 2023, the D-backs RBI All-star team comprised of 15 boys & 15 girls will be provided a full Nike uniform and shoes and receive an all-expenses paid trip to Seattle, Washington to compete in the RBI world series.

The D-backs Jr. RBI program in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs across Metro Phoenix introduces youth under the age of 12 to baseball, with a focus on the fundamentals. All participants receive a baseball glove, t-shirt, an invitation to D-backs Jr. RBI Night and the opportunity to participate in MLB programs such as Pitch, Hit & Run and the Jr. Home Run Derby.
